Algeria Best Africa team

Algeria voted best Africa team

After Algeria’s show of strength during the African/World cup qualifier, a poll conducted by the Libyan sports weekly “Al Hadaf” crowns the Greens as the best African team of 2009. A decision probably comforted by the memorable thrashing of the official African champions, Egypt. Algeria’s back on top and it is just the beginning. Shehata’s tears after his team’s 0-1 win over Zambia might as well have been tears of despair, having to face Algeria in Cairo.

The Algerian selection has not reached its full potential yet; several players are fairly new to the selection. The current selection showed its technical strength on the field as well as its mental strength: we all remember the Rwanda game and the anti-sportsmanship that went-on unpunished on the field thanks to Joseph Keita the Guinean “referee”. Playing under these conditions required nerves of steel, Pharaohs beware!

The greens are currently conducting a preparatory course in Italy from the 8th to the 12th November. The Algerian National team is due in Cairo 48 hours before the match, on the 12th November.

The Egyptian Fans League representative feels the Greens are a real threat to Egyptian dreams of world cup as he indicated that Algerians will live hell during their stay in Cairo (not on the field ;-) , notice?): they promise a noisy and disturbing night to the Algerian players, the night before the match or as they have called it “International Day”. One of the initiator, a DJ, is planning to use 25 loudspeakers, inviting other DJs to join him for the party…

They can be as noisy ad they want to be, and they can talk all the junk they want, but we will give them the appropriate answer on NOV.14. On the other hand, if they beat us with a score greater than 2, that will mean that we do not deserve to go to SA. All the noises and media attacks they are making are understandable, but burning our flag in the middle of the street can never be forgiven.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4U3ycAQ-yQ
They might say that we did that first, not we did not because the two years old video showed a teeshirt with he word Egypt on it being burned not a flag that million and half martyrs died for.
lets hope that Lila oulwi and Fifi abdou are going to be in their best form on nov 14.

I guess Saudis were not wrong when they came up with this song:

We should have never receiving like kings in Algeria

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xrmvZGEv9IQ&feature=player_embedded

And after all that Egyptians could not stand the fact, that an Egyptian newspaper wanted to offer a rose to every Algerian player at the airport, and that Newspaper got so much sH.. that they had to cancel the initiative. The funny part is that some of these attacks on the newspaper were coming from Egyptian players:) the same players that were received with roses in Algiers.

They are our brothers, but the problem is their arrogance, since day one when the did find out we were in the same group, they started making plans for the world cup.
The moment they won in Zambia, they started their attacks, from ” they thought us Arabic” , ” they liberated us from the French” to finally burning our flag.
I love the Egyptian people and as you said they are our brothers but enough is enough, and its always an egyptian thing, its never their fault, its always somebodys else fault:)

@Nazim… you do know that these were only SOME egyptians that burnt the Algerian flag? not the 70 million. And, just so that you know, SOME Algerians did exactly the same:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zo6Ii-IdNWA&feature=related
And Nazim.. SOME Algerian fans also stood outside the Hotel which the Egyptian players were sleeping and kept honking their horns… all the we egyptians are doing is simply in retaliation for all the actions that SOME Algerians have also done.
btw, you do know the feeling in Egypt is that ALL Algerians treat us as if we are Jews. Egyptians are only annoyed at this fact. We never before used to hate Algeria and if you dont believe this, please find me some evidence that contradicts.

Ahmed,

I am sure it was an honest mistake, why do you have to be mean about it? . As for your team having had food poisoning , that’s a really bad excuse:) I do know that we mopped the floor with your team, and that you guys felt humiliated, but come on. So if the players had food poisoning, how come they played so well in the first half of the game, but they collapsed in the last 30 min?:) Its not our fault that you team is in such bad shape, or maybe they are getting too old:)
As Ahmed Shobeir said ( he is Egyptian by the way) you guys were treated like kings in Algeria

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zdf2xvd8Eo&feature=youtube_gdata

On the other hand, take a look at the following clip and you will see how Egyptians treat their guests, you Moron.

Of course Algeria doesn’t deserve to go to SA.You would be an embarassment to africa, Like angola and togo Lats time. We need to send our African powerhouses. Cameroon, Ivory Coast,Egypt,Ghana, Nigeria…. Not a mediocore team like Algeria or Gabon because of a lucky game…….

Nazim my friend why are facts arrogance? In the 80″s Algeria had a very good team One of the best in Africa that is a fact. Now, however the Algerian Team is an Average squad. Let me be the first to say it. There is no excuse for Egypts loss to Algeria. I don’t care what the Algerians did or didn’t do.They are a 2nd tier team and should have treated that way.Nove. 14th is coming my friend and so is thye cold reality.

@bahaa
AS you like to put it, we are 2nd tier team and your are the elite right??
At the risk if repeating my self again and again , you guys will get our answer on Nov 14.
You might want to start looking for excuses;)
it’s funny how a team that represented africa only twice in the WC(34,90)
is Africas only super power.
As you guys say
ماهو كلام ببلاش و يا خبر اليوم بفلوس بكره ببلاش
I am not sure if you are aware of the facts that unlike our Egyptian brothers, WE, ALgerians don’t like to talk a lot, any use slogans, propaganda and all the tactics
So knock yourself out my friend and talk all the junk you want because

Algeria or Algiers, with no doubt, has a true wonderful history filled with heroic icons, tragic events, countless victories and alot more.. I as an Egyptian apologize to you for any offense regarding your history from the media attacks and for the BAD APPLE Egyptians who burnt your flag, but we’re not like that at all.. needless to say, all this propaganda completely has nothing to do with a soccer game.

As for the game, soccer records for both countries are meaningless on the night of the 14th November, the chances are practically equal on both sides either you win or you lose, I know that the Algerian team is not an easy one to beat, but who ever wins this match deserves to go for the WC finals, if it happens to be Algeria I’ll be the first to cheer “1,2,3.. viva l’Algerie” and I don’t think that you will be an embarresment.

Whoever said that there’s going to be a noisy disturbing night with DJ’s and stuff is nothing but crap. plus this picture is probably taken in India (check the letters on these mics or whatever they are).

In Reply to Nazim, Laila Oulwi and Fifi Abdou will be watching the match at their homes, so don’t worry.

May the best team win.

@Kid

Thankyou for your kind words, and as we all know its only a game a silly game a 90 min game and may the best win. As i always said if Algeria loses by greater than 2 goals, that would mean that we do not deserve to go to the WC.

SO MAY THE BEST WIN.

123 viva L’Algerie

just one question algerians, why do you hate us and we don’t ?
this is the real shame

Zero,
We do not hate you, we are brothers after all. we only hate your ARROGANCE.
As far as hating goes we only hate you in soccer, Egyptians always think they are the best among arabs ( talking about soccer), and that none can beat them, and when ever they lose a game, its never because they simply lost, or the other team was better, its always somebody else fault, either the ref, food,………etc. and we hate that about you. As far as real people, Egyptians are always welcomed in Algeria. in addition to that, if we hated you we would not have let Egyptian companies have lot of investment opportunities and advantages that were not given to nobody else, Just check how Egyptian actors are received in Algeria…..etc.

The fact and the matter, its only a soccer game, and may the best win.

The fact and the matter it’s only soccer, but some Media from both sides are trying to build more tension to sell more issues.

This “kiss my…algerian ppl” guy is giving a very bad image of egyptians, thanks god that they are not all like him: uneducated, arrogant, vulgar, no manners, a swearing machine, a delinquent, a pussy, a coward, a beggar, an internet terrorist and ……

so i guess just few bad guys from both sides are responsible for this .

i hope every fan of egyption or algerian team realize the nature of the relation between our countries

I bet this Libyan newspaper crowned the Egyptian team as the best in the world after we beat Italy in SA… LOL

What a bunch of sore losers… the only thing Egypt is upset is about losing to Algeria, Egyptian diplomaty looks so stupid LA times and all major newspapers in America are laughting at Egypt their title today was “Egypt loses soccer game calls it’s ambassador in algiers” laughbable. That was their only hope everything else is taken away from them by their rogue regime.. with the present regime Egypt as a country is sinking and trying to drag Algeria with it , but it won’t happen, according to their own ambassador in Sudan few minor incidents here and there and no more than 20 fans with light bruises or cuts more Algerians were injured in Egypt, don’t try to change things and deflect the attention of what really happened to Algerians in Egypt, the whole world watched in horror the bloodied players… you seem to forget that was a game played in Algeria before and Egyptian team and fans were treated like royalty. This was plan B from the Present egyptian royal family, attack Algeria so they can keep their own people focused on something else other than them now that football season is over and nothing to keep them occupied….even the crown prince of Egypt the son of Mubarak is stirring the pot….It’s deja vu looks a lot like a father president in Irak and his 2 sons…. An Egyptian president that all the sudden decide to care about his own people where was he when the ferry sank a couple of years ago with more than 1000 egyptians dead? . a no show too after the train accident that killed so many people etc….. I wish one day egyptians realize what is really happenning to them and turn things around and become once again the great nation that once was.
